Skill Development Program


This programme is also know as "Kanakadhara" and conducted under CSR applicable guideline "Employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects, empowering women and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups" of Schedule VII.

Full-fledged vocational skill training by volunteers and trainers of Nilachal Vedic Village is undertaken for tribal villagers especially the women. They are trained extensively on the job and through classes in several areas such as organic farming, animal husbandry and cottage industry. This project has generated rural employment for 150 tribal villagers through horticulture, handicraft, cow products and herbal spices since 2013 and continues to grow.
